Purpose and Scope

This document defines how Iceberg handles data ownership, usage, sharing, and retention across its advisor ecosystem, including what occurs if an advisor opts out or leaves the platform.

The goal is to protect advisor intellectual property, preserve trust, and ensure Iceberg can continue to deliver high-quality recommendations and sentiment intelligence across the network.

This document applies to all advisor, investor, and deal data processed within Iceberg.

Core Principle

Rights over data are determined by relationship provenance and contribution over time.

In simple terms:

• If a relationship comes from the advisor, it stays private
• If a relationship comes from Iceberg, it strengthens the network
• If a relationship is built together, Iceberg learns without exposing the advisor

Iceberg operates as a custodian of relationship intelligence, not a data extractor or reseller.
