Iceberg is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure designed for data isolation, encryption, and operational resilience. This document outlines the technical and security controls in place across the platform, and the commitments Iceberg makes to every advisor on the platform.
Core Commitments
- Your contacts are yours. Iceberg never sells, licenses, shares, or syndicates advisor contact lists. Contacts uploaded to your workspace are visible only to you and your invited team members.
- Your data is never used to train AI models. Not by Iceberg, not by Google, not by OpenAI, not by any provider in the Iceberg stack.
- AI inference runs through US-based providers only. All large language model and embedding providers used in the Iceberg platform are headquartered in the United States and operate under US data protection law.
- Workspace isolation is enforced at the database level. No advisor can ever see another advisor's contacts, deals, notes, or relationship data.
- You can export and delete your workspace at any time.
Data Ownership
Advisors retain full ownership of all data uploaded to the Iceberg platform.
This includes:
- Contact lists and relationship intelligence
- Deal materials, pitch decks, and mandates
- Notes, communications, and engagement history
- Target investor and buyer universes generated within the workspace
Iceberg acts solely as a data processor and workflow platform. Iceberg does not claim ownership of advisor data, and advisor data is never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for any purpose.
Data uploaded to one advisor workspace is never visible to any other advisor or organisation, under any circumstances.
Contact Data Handling
Advisor contact lists receive the strictest protections in the platform.
- Contacts uploaded to a workspace remain inside that workspace
- Contacts are not pooled, blended, or shared across the Iceberg user base
